Las Vegas Strip properties to celebrate 'Earth Hour'

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —
The Las Vegas Strip will be celebrating "Earth hour" on Saturday night.

Several properties, including Resorts World's 100,000-square-foot LED screen and The Venetian, will go dark from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Earth Hour started in 2007 and is celebrated annually to raise awareness about environmental issues.
