A second suspect accused in a deadly shooting at a Las Vegas apartment last month has been arrested in Southern California.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say they identified Lashawn Hicks, 24, as a second suspect in the Feb. 26 killing on E. Twain Avenue.
A warrant on a charge of open murder was issued for his arrest, and law enforcement in California took him into custody on March 22, according to LVMPD.
Hicks has been booked into San Bernardino County Detention Center, pending extradition to Las Vegas. A booking photo has not been provided.
Jail records indicate he was arrested in Victorville and is next scheduled to appear for a court hearing on Monday, March 27.
Earlier this month, LVMPD announced the arrest of 40-year-old Sakoya James. Court records show she has been charged with counts of open murder and conspiracy to commit murder, and she is being held at Clark County Detention Center without bail.
A preliminary hearing for James is scheduled for April 6.
