Veterans experiencing homelessness here in the valley got some much-needed help on Wednesday.

U.S. Vets Las Vegas hosted their stand-down event at The Silver Nugget, which is an event that provides essentials and services to homeless veterans in the community.

More than 100 community-based organizations were there to support our bravest locals.

The event was the first time in three years that U.S. Vets were able to give this lifeline to our local veterans due to the pandemic,
