Robbery suspect accused of critically injuring 101 year old man appears in court (KSNV)
Las Vegas (KSNV) —
A robbery suspect who police say crashed her car into a 101-year-old man who served in World War II appeared in court Tuesday.

29-year-old Kassandra Alvarez has been behind bars since the incident on March 1st.
Dr. Herbert Muskin was critically injured when his car was hit from behind at Sunset Road and Stephanie Street.
Police shot Alvarez’s passenger, 31-year-old Lorraine Alvarado, after the crash because they say Alvarado pointed a gun at officers. Alvarado remains in the hospital as of Tuesday.
According to police, the duo had justrobbed a sporting goods store when they fled from officers.

A preliminary hearing for the two women was pushed back to April 13th.
