First Alert Forecast: A big warm up Tuesday with rain in the forecast late
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A slow-moving, but nearby front will aid in bringing back two weather elements to the area: much warmer air and rain chances. Tuesday looks dry by and large under partly sunny skies, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Late Tuesday, however, clusters of showers and thunderstorms (largely non-severe) will spread through the Great Lakes region, bringing occasional rain, downpours, and thunder overnight through Wednesday morning.

First Alert Forecast: Humid with a few showers Wednesday into Thursday
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Labor Day weekend ended on a much drier note than it started, but the humidity is about to briefly return. An approaching front will toss some clouds and showers our way Wednesday, likely as early as late morning, so the temperature forecast is a bit less certain than usual. More cloud cover could keep highs closer to the upper 70s and lows 80s versus mid to upper-80º highs. Furthermore, how much sunshine/heating we’re able to attain will have a big influence on how much storms are able to grow during the afternoon and evening hours. Even in a worst-case scenario, however, widespread severe weather is not expected.
