Kevin Dixon, 27, of Midlothian, could face up to 20 years in the slammer on counts of illegal machine gun possession and as a formerly convicted felon holding a firearm, U.S. District Judge Virginia M. Kendall decreed. The verdict came down on April 19, with sentencing slated for September 10, the Department of Justice said.

Mother, 26, dies after crash, 3-year-old daughter seriously injured
INGHAM COUNTY, MI – A 26-year-old woman died, and her 3-year-old daughter was seriously injured in a crash over the weekend, police said. Around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Ingham County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the intersection of College and Columbia roads for a two-vehicle crash, according a news release.
