Pa. facility to close; dozens of employees to be laid off
A company that repairs ships in Philadelphia is closing its facility in the City of Brotherly Love. North Atlantic Ship Repair filed a WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification) notice with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry informing the state it will close its facility at 5195 S. 19th St. in Philadelphia and 58 people will be laid off as a result of the closure.

Two women were hospitalized Tuesday morning following a multi-vehicle crash on the 202 Parkway in Montgomery Township. The crash occurred at the intersection with Knapp Road at 9:15 a.m. on April 23. Police said a Kia Sportage, driven by an 18-year-old female from Phoenixville, was traveling northbound on the 202 Parkway when it collided with a Hyundai Ioniq that was traveling eastbound on Knapp Road.
