Historic Pride of Baltimore II Offers Free Tours at Alexandria Marina this October
The city of Alexandria is set to host the Pride of Baltimore II at its marina from October 20 to 22, 2023. This visit is part of the National Park Service tour of the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail. The ship will dock at the Alexandria Marina and offer free deck tours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No tickets are needed for these tours, which allow visitors to engage with the deck crew and a National Park Service ranger.

Neptali Mendoza will be the executive chef of the Italian/Tex-Mex restaurant, his first venture after a long career in Washington, D.C.-area restaurants. He started cooking professionally under the chef Peter Pastan at the Michelin Guide-listed Italian restaurant Obelisk at 2029 P Street, N.W. in 2006. Mendoza then moved onto RedRocks Pizzeria in Alexandria, and Baronessa Italian Restaurant here in Rockville, which closed last year. He is a graduate of the culinary arts program at the Carlos Rosario International School.
