Syracuse will host new monthly "Comedy That Cares" series in the new year, Dude Dad set to kick it off

But he also has a history as a certified behavioral specialist who’s done social work and helped individuals with disabilities for nearly a decade. Before becoming a full-time comedian, Syracuse used to work in maximum security prisons around the Los Angeles area, where he mixed his background in psychology with his training in acting and improvisation to teach people anger management coping mechanisms, life skills and overall cognitive behavioral intervention. He now uses all of his combined experiences to empower people through his business, Cognitive Behavioral Theater. He also still participates in and even hosts other shows throughout the country and Wyoming with organizations like Second Chance Comedy, which he participated in last November. Kicking off on Jan. 16, he’ll be gifting Cheyenne with a new, monthly series called “Comedy That Cares.” Once
