LCSO answers call for equipment for Israel
Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office answered Virginia Attorney General’s call to provide equipment for the Israel Defense Force (IDF). Attorney General Jason Miyares announced that on October 17 he sent letters to all 123 Virginia Sheriffs asking them to donate expired or excess equipment to his office so he could ship the donations to the Israeli military. The AG told the sheriffs he was looking for items, such as surplus body armor, protective gear, and tactical equipment.
