UPDATE: A Lamar County School District bus was involved in a single-vehicle accident on MS Highway 589 at the Burnt Bridge Road intersection. 17-year-old boy charged with murder of 15-year-old Mississippi girl
An arrest has been made by a Mississippi police department in the Monday murder of 15-year-old Jayna Lumzy in Hattiesburg. A 17-year-old male of Lamar County has been formally charged with one count of First-Degree Murder. He has been charged as an adult and has been booked into the Forrest County Jail with the assistance of the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office.
