BREAKING: Lakewood Resident Hospitalized With Pellet Gunshot Wound

A Lakewood resident was hospitalized this evening after being shot with a pellet gun in an apparent accident, sources told TLS.

The accident happened while two young residents were reportedly playing with a pellet gun. The gun went off, shooting one of them, injuring him in the torso.

Sources tell TLS the pellet narrowly missed the heart, which could have proved fatal.

The victim was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center With non life-threatening injuries.

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau and CSI are investigating.

    • People who enjoy shooting them. There’s a reason there’s a market for them. What kid from my generation didn’t grow up shooting them (safely)?
