Bachur Hospitalized After Being Struck By Vehicle Passing School Bus in Lakewood [PHOTOS]

As first reported on TLS Status, a Bachur was hospitalized this evening after being struck by a vehicle which reportedly passed a school bus.

The accident happened approximately 10:00 PM on Madison Avenue near Courtney Road, just as the Bachur had gotten off the school bus.

The Bachur was treated by Hatzolah and transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

  1. Is it legal for busses to stop on Madison ave and drop off the passengers there? I don’t think it is and its extremely dangerous as there is 4 lanes… I have unfortunately seen this a few times recently with very close calls…

  2. The Almighty should send a speedy recovery to the injured person.
    I know that sometimes people speed during normal business hours because they are rushing to finalize a 10 million dollar deal.
    I am surprised that at 10 PM at night, people are still in a rush.

  3. Has nothing to do with people being in a rush.
    People just don’t seem to care, don’t pay any attention to the rules and laws, and are too distracted while driving.

  4. He should have a complete Refuah Sheleimah and be even stronger in Torah and Mitzvos. Hashem should give him good, long life, shalom bayis, and nachas,, and we should all yearn for Moshiach and dance in the temple speedily in our days!
