Drone pilot spots 1983 BMW submerged in Twin Cities pond
BURNSVILLE, Minn. — A drone pilot made a mysterious discovery last week while flying over a Twin Cities pond.The Dakota County Sheriff's Office says the pilot spotted a vehicle submerged in water at Burnsville's Neil Park.The county's dive team removed the 1983 BMW 320i, which was believed to have been underwater for 20-plus years. Last evening, Twin Cities residents found themselves on the receiving end of a false alarm. The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) admitted they goofed, accidentally casting a wider net with a shelter-in-place alert that should have covered just a couple of streets in Robbinsdale. The alert, intended solely for the 3600-3700 block of Hubbard and West Broadway, went out at 7:34 pm, causing undue stress for folks beyond the designated danger zone.

Corner Bar at 100 Main St. W in New Prague has on its main door, “Sorry we are closed due to roof repairs.”. According to New Prague city staff the bar’s liquor license expired March 31. Planning/Community Development Director Ken Ondich said the local bar had submitted an application for a liquor license with other liquor establishments before the March 31 deadline, but the business did not have an approved lease for its location.
