Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is excited to announce that as a special tribute to 25 years, a short documentary film showcasing the story of Blacktail Mountain and its future legacy will be presented to their beloved community on March 27, 2023.
The evening will begin with Teton Gravity Research’s short film, In Pursuit of Soul. This film explores the fiercely authentic culture of independent resort towns across the country while meeting the people that call those mountains home. This film will be followed by In Pursuit of Soul 2, a short film celebrating the independent spirit of the Midwest ski and snowboard community. Both films are collaborative efforts with Indy Pass.
The show will conclude with their very own Blacktail Mountain 25th Anniversary documentary film that will take you on a heartfelt journey and not only give you a glimpse into the determination it took to build a hometown ski area with what seemed to be insurmountable odds, but also how this is the foundation for its future legacy. The event will be held at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts, 526 Electric Avenue, Bigfork, Mt.
The doors will open at 6 pm for social hour, the show starts at 7 pm. A $5 admission includes (1) free drink token and entry into a 2023/24 BMSA Season Pass giveaway the night of the event.
