Man charged in death of local paramedic, police officer pleads not guilty in federal court
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (WMBF) - The Pee Dee man at the center of two death investigations thousands of miles apart pleaded not guilty in federal court on Thursday. Court documents show Jaremy Smith, 32, of Marion, made the plea during an arrangement in New Mexico. A judge has also been assigned to the case, but a trial date has not been set.
