Lake Oswego wants input on Lakeview Boulevard improvements

Whether it be the regular ponding that occurs after heavy rain events, a lack of accessibility for pedestrians or a poorly-conditioned surface, Lakeview Boulevard has some flaws the city of Lake Oswego hopes to ameliorate.

The city has budgeted $8 million for a project to improve the roadway and is conducting a public process for this effort — including an open house from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 13 at the Willow Room in its Maintenance Center. Construction is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2024, but the city hasn’t decided exactly what facilities and features the improvements will include and wants the public’s help through that process.
