Delaware River Basin Commission collecting items for food drive on June 4
The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) will host a distributed food drive benefiting food pantries in several upper Delaware River Basin communities. Donations are being collected through June 4 and will be presented to the Narrowsburg Ecumenical Food Pantry, the Wayne County Food Pantry Program, and the Sullivan County Federation for the Homeless at the DRBC’s second-quarter business meeting in Narrowsburg, on June 5.

Man arrested for injuring state trooper at Wayne County Courthouse
HONESDALE, WAYNE CO. (WOLF) — A Lake Ariel man is behind bars after police say he injured a state trooper at the Wayne County Courthouse. According to the Wayne County District Attorney's Office, prior to a summary trial for careless and reckless driving on Monday, 32-year-old Shane Murphy, Jr. became "agitated, irate and belligerent" outside of the District Magistrate's office in the courthouse.
