According to the Lackawanna County District Attorney's Office, prosecutors secured a guilty verdict against Waliek Shakur Vereen, 27, following a jury trial on various charges in connection to a stabbing in Scranton in July of 2023.

KINGSTON – Fifty-year-old Daniel Foy of Kerhonkson was arraigned in Ulster County Court on Friday after being indicted for allegedly killing and dismembering a woman known to him on Easter weekend (March 31-April 1). 'Courage to be Safe' course hosted by fire department
LAKEVILLE, WAYNE CO. (WOLF) — The Lakeville Volunteer Fire Company in Wayne County hosted a brand new course presented by the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy. The course was called "Courage to be Safe." It was a way for the fire company to raise awareness of safety-- and show how to avoid future tragedies.
