The popular Greek Food Festival is back in Lackawanna County!
Folks lined up to feed their appetite for tradition Greek food that’s been serving up the community for nearly 45 years.
We’re told they have been working since January for preparations for this week’s festival.
"The community at large loves us and looks forward to it. There’s a lot of great local ethic food festival, and people seem to like the Greek,” said Alex Molfetas. coordinator for Greek food festival.
Money made through the festival keeps up with expenses for Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on North Washington Avenue in Scranton.
The festival began on June 6th and will continue till Saturday June 10th, 11 A.m. to 7 P.m.
