The Lady Comanches had a powerful time at the plate, getting 19 hits to win 16-5 at La Vernia on March 14.
Addy Siegel got four hits, two home runs, three runs and four RBI; Rylee Vancura got three hits, one home run, three runs and five RBI. Paeden Vincik also got a home run, one run and two RBI with two hits. Brinley Ramire was 3-for-4 with three runs; Callie Sevcik and Dyllan Chrismon each got two hits.
The game was 1-1 after the first inning and Shiner outscored the Lady Bears 5-1 in the second and 5-2 in the third before scoring five of six runs in the fifth inning.
Teresa Olivas started at pitch with three innings, four runs, two hits, two wild pitches and one walk; Chrismon tossed 1 2/3 innings, one hit, one run, one walk and Siegel closed out with 1/3 innings with one strikeout.
Ramirez made four putouts in the field.
