Raging River Flows Through Creek Park During Relentless Rainstorm

La Mirada, Los Angeles County, CA: A relentless overnight rainstorm turned La Miranda’s Creek Park into a raging river by early Wednesday morning, Mar. 15.

Key News Network video captured around 3:15 a.m. from the pedestrian bridge near Stamy Road and Las Flores Avenue, shows high speed water flowing over one of the many dams located in the park with speeds appearing to reach at least 30 mph at times.

The storm was due to clear out of the area by Wednesday afternoon with more rain predicted for next week.
