Thank you, Mayor (Norma) Sepulveda and thank you to the city of Harlingen for being such tremendous partners with UTRGV. As you can probably tell, I’m recording my remarks in between one of our spring semester commencement ceremonies. Now, it’s fitting that I do so because when we talk about successful collaborations between UTRGV and Harlingen, they all lead to this moment, when our students receive their hard-earned diplomas in front of their families and their friends.
