Watch: Driver slams into back of WisDOT truck near Minnesota border

A traffic camera captured the moment when a pickup truck slammed into a Wisconsin Department of Transportation vehicle in La Crosse on Wednesday.

The crash happened on westbound I-90 near the ramp from State Highway 16, a few miles east of the Minnesota border.

The video, provided by SafetyVid.org, shows the DOT vehicle parked with its flashing lights on in the right lane of traffic. A warning board was also showing at the time.

The pickup truck approaches it at a high rate of speed without braking, before it smashes head-on into the WisDOT truck.

Everyone involved in the crash survived. However, it's unclear the extent of the injuries to those involved.

The crash resulted in significant traffic backups.
