Marugame Udon set to open new Bay Area location

( KRON ) – Japanese restaurant Marugame Udon is expanding throughout the Bay Area into Palo Alto.

Per Marugame Udon’s website, the restaurant provides “hand-crafted udon bowls, tempura, and beverages from a theater kitchen, allowing guests to watch as their food is prepared.” The restaurant is Japan-based and said it “holds true to the authentic tradition of noodle making and its origins.”

There is not an exact date of opening, the restaurant’s website says “coming soon.” However, the address has been announced. The newest branch’s address is 383 University Ave.

Marugame Udon has locations in some of the biggest cities in the world, including Los Angeles, Hawaii, Moscow, Sydney, Seoul and Hong Kong.  Marugame Udon has five Bay Area branches: San Francisco, Berkeley, San Ramon, Santa Clara and Cupertino.
