Dallas ISD student among 3 people injured in downtown shooting, police say

Three people were injured, including a Dallas ISD student, in a shooting downtown on Thursday afternoon.

The shooting took place at an apartment complex on Commerce Street on Thursday afternoon. Dallas police said three people were shot. As of Friday morning, police had not released information about an arrest or suspect.

Witnesses said they heard at least a dozen gunshots inside the apartment complex.

Commerce Street was closed for multiple hours on Thursday afternoon.
