Fort Worth police investigate fatal shooting of a man in attempted robbery

FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD)- Fort Worth police say someone shot and killed a man walking in a parking lot early Wednesday morning in an apparent attempted robbery.

Police got the call before 5 in the morning about a shooting near Granbury Road and Hulen in the city's southwest side. When officers got to the scene they found the victim lying on the ground, shot in the torso.

Police say they believe the shooter took off right after the shooting. So far no arrests.
