No. 4 seed Tennessee (24-11, 13-3 SEC) defeated No. 12 seed Toledo (29-4, 16-2 MAC), 94-47, on Monday at Thompson-Boling Arena in the second round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

The Lady Vols advance to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament.

Tennessee will play No. 1 seed Virginia Tech in the Sweet 16 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington on Saturday.

Tipoff between the Lady Vols and Hokies is slated for 6:30 p.m. EDT. The contest will be televised by ESPN2.

The winner of the Tennessee-Virginia Tech game will advance to play the winner of Saturday’s other Seattle 3 regional semifinal between No. 2 UConn (31-5) and No. 3 Ohio State (27-7).
