Missouri Task Force 1 to return home Sunday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Missouri Task Force 1 members are coming home.

According to previous reporting , 45 members were assisting in relief for Tropical Storm Debby in North Carolina, while another five were in Macon, Georgia.

The Boone County Fire Protection District wrote on its social media Friday that Task Force 1 received demobilization orders. They are expected to return to the Boone County Fire Protection District Headquarters by 11 a.m. Sunday, the post reads.

Task Force 1 members left for North Carolina on Wednesday morning.
