Cowgirls battle No. 1 Henley tough
Wednesday, April 3, the Crook County High School softball team hosted No. 1-ranked Henley in what was scheduled to be a doubleheader. The Hornets won game one 15-12, but game two was not completed, being called for darkness at the end of four innings with the score tied 2-2. Saturday the two teams met again, this time in Klamath Falls to finish the unfinished game and play a second game, with Henley coming out on top in both games. ...
Prep roundup: Pelicans post rare baseball victories against Mazama
Saturday turned out to be a milestone day for the Klamath Union/Crosspoint Christian baseball team. Not only did the Pelicans beat Mazama on the field for the first time since 2016, snapping an 18-game losing streak in the series, they swept the Vikings in a doubleheader for the first time since 2012. (Note: The Vikings had to forfeit games to KU last season.)
