Police: 2 teens shot, 1 killed on bike path in Kissimmee

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Police in Kissimmee police are investigating a deadly shooting involving two teenagers.

Officers said a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old left an apartment complex Thursday morning and headed to a bike path near Dyer Boulevard and North Thacker Avenue.

Police said a man approached them while on the path and started shooting at them.

The 18-year-old died and the 17-year-old was injured, officials said.

Officers said this was an isolated incident and the people involved may have all known each other.

Kissimmee police also respond to another deadly shooting on Thursday.

A person was killed, and two others were injured Thursday afternoon in a drive-by shooting outside the Mighty Wings restaurant near downtown Kissimmee.
