ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Firefighters are on the scene of a structure fire in the village of Kingston in Ross County.
The call came into dispatchers shortly after 8:15 a.m. of a fire at a home along West 2nd Street and Oak Street.
Emergency crews from multiple area townships fire departments including several from Pickaway County were dispatched to assist in putting out the flames.
According to initial reports, fire and heavy smoke were seen billowing from the rear of the structure.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, it is unclear at this time if the structure was occupied at the time of the fire.
