Running: Online registration is open for Kingston Kiwanis Classic on April 23

KINGSTON, N.Y. — Registration is open for the 39th annual Kiwanis Kingston Classic, which is returning to the Rondout Waterfront on Sunday, April 23.

A 10K and 5K run start at 10 a.m. and a 1.5-mile run/walk sets off at 10:15 a.m.

Kiwanis announced that the scenic Hutton Brickyard Trail has been added to the race course.

A 10K Mayors Cup team challenge category is available for groups and organizations. The award will go to the most runners who complete the course.

A participation trophy will go to the team with the most runners in a combination of all the races.

T-shirts will be given to those who pre-register by April 2. Registration fees are $25 for the 10K and 5K and $14 for the 1.5-mile run-walk for those who register early.

After April 20, registration fees will be $30 for the 10K and 5K and $20 for the 1.5-mile run and walk.

A post-party and awards ceremony with refreshments and music will take place at Ole Savannah.
