KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — Healthy Kingsport held a Mini Health Fair for the community on Wednesday at the Kingsport Farmers Market.

Vendors were set up at the fair to provide information on services offered to the community.

“We have a walk for Wellness Health Expo every year where we have about 32 vendors come out and do something along the lines of what we’re doing today,” Director of Healthy Kingsport Desteny Clemons said. “For this summer, we wanted to make sure that we got these health initiatives out to the community while they’re at home with their children for the summer and have some things to do so they can go out in the community and visit some people.”

Clemons said some of the services offered by vendors are free of charge.

“The more things that we can get out to the community as far as health and wellness goes, we absolutely want to get out and get that out to the community,” Clemons said.
