KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — A Kings County supervisor is now calling on Gov. Gavin Newsom to tour flood damage in Corcoran.
Supervisor Richard Valle says he wants the governor to see the impact not only on the land but on its people.

He says many farm workers already lost more than a month's worth of wages and there is no relief for them.
Corcoran is also requesting $5 million in state funding to beef up a levee protecting the city and two state prisons.
