Over 3 Inches of Rain Could Soak Durango With Flooding Risk for Telluride, Montrose, and Grand Junction as Active Storm Track Returns This Week
DURANGO, Colo. — An active storm track returns to Colorado this week, once again favoring areas west of the Continental Divide. The risk of heavy rain and localized flooding will rise in and around the San Juan Mountains and over recent burn scars. Rainfall estimates of 1 to 3 inches look reasonable, with locally higher amounts. The heaviest precipitation is expected to begin Wednesday.
