Shawnee Hot balloon festival preps for skyline transformation

SHAWNEE, Okla. (KFOR) – The Shawnee skyline is set to transform over the weekend with vibrant colors as Fireflight Balloon Festival moves into the skies from the Citizen Potawatomi Nation.

Attendees can expect a two-day event with up to twenty balloons on-site during the Firelake Fire Flight Balloon Festival.

Activities will also include mini-golf to scoping out food trucks from various craft vendors. Live entertainment is also on deck alongside vibrant balloons blasting off during the hot air balloon event. Check out the event schedule here .
