A popular Canadian restaurant chain recently opened its newest location in the U.S., continuing its expansion into the states. Moxies opened March 1 at The Main Las Olas, 201 E. Las Olas Blvd., Unit B1, in downtown Fort Lauderdale. It is the company's second location in Florida, sixth in the U.S. and fifty-seventh in both the U.S. and Canada.

Last week, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation inspected several locations in South Florida and found instances of roach, rodent, and fly infestations.
