CHRISTUS Sulphur Springs hospital celebrates 75 years

SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas (KETK) – CHRISTUS celebrated a milestone of East Texas community healthcare on Thursday for the 75th anniversary of their hospital in Sulphur Springs

At the celebration, CHRISTUS officials also announced a $25 million expansion for CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Sulphur Springs.

“One will be an OR expansion. We’ve outgrown our current surgical services space. We’ll be doubling that space, and then we’ll be building a new medical special building to house three of our service lines,” Paul Harvey, CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital Sulphur Springs president, said.

CHRISTUS also recognized the 75 years of history at the hospital with an unveiling of a ‘history wall’ that documents the story of the Sulphur Springs hospital.
