    2 arrested after drug bust at Marshall home

    HARRISON COUNTY, Texas ( KETK ) – Two people were arrested for delivery of marijuana after an investigation by a local violent crime and narcotics task force.

    Officials issue warning after psychedelics ‘disguised as harmless party drug’ found in Gregg County

    Patrick Deondrick Burns and Kemron Rider were arrested after an investigation into drug-related activity at 702 Elm Street in Marshall.

    The Joint Harrison County Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force, Harrison County Emergency Response Team, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and the Marshall Police Department carried out the search on Thursday morning.

    Officers discovered marijuana, two firearms, MDMA and psilocybin. During their search, Rider reportedly drove by the location and was arrested for delivery of marijuana. He was also charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon when officers found him to be in possession of an AR pistol.

    Burns was arrested for possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. He was also already wanted in connection to a previous task force investigation for two counts of delivery of a controlled substance.
