The Kennett City Council found another way to talk about trash during Tuesday night’s meeting. The Council passed an ordinance updating building codes that include property maintenance. Code Enforcement Officer Victor Mode told the Council that the new codes should more clearly define trash responsibility between a landlord and tenant.
The landlord is responsible for providing a trash bin and the removal.
