Broken Bridge at Kennesaw Mountain Park Replaced
A broken bridge on a Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park trail has been replaced, making the path once again safe for use. The footbridge on the 24-Gun Battery Trail was destroyed last week after a tree fell on it. For the last six days, the park has advised users to avoid crossing at the point, located west of Old Mountain Road. In a Wednesday Facebook post, the park announced a new bridge had been constructed and was ready for visitor use. "Throwing out a huge thank you to our rockstar maintenance team for making it happen," the post reads.
