Keller home damaged by fire, neighbors say it was due to a lightning strike

A Keller home has been damaged by a fire overnight and some neighbors believe it was caused by a lightning strike.

Officials say the fire broke out late Tuesday night just as a line of thunderstorms producing vivid lightning was rumbling through Tarrant County.

Firefighters found the fire at a home on Hickory Chase Circle near Denton Highway and Ridge Point Parkway. They found a moderate amount of smoke inside but we don't know how bad the damage is.

Some neighbors have been on social media saying it was a lightning strike but the fire department has had nothing to say about that.
