After Bike Accident, Jersey City To Acquire Portion Of Waterfront Walkway To Better Maintain It
JERSEY CITY, NJ- Jersey City has moved to acquire a portion of waterfront walkway to better maintain it after a cyclist had an accident on it last year. KEARNY, NJ -- Caitlin Gaetani went 4-for-4 with one RBI and struck out nine batters in four innings pitched to lead Bayonne to an 8-1 softball victory over Kearny on Monday. Gaetani allowed one hit and one walk and did not give up a run. McChesney tosses gem as Kearny blanks McNair - Baseball recap
William McChesney tossed a two-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and no walks as Kearny defeated McNair 12-0 in six innings in Jersey City. McChesney also went 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBIs and three runs and Ben Wilkinson went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs to help Kearny improve to 7-2.
