The highly anticipated Battle of the Badges blood drive is set to commence Tuesday in the Tri-Cities, bringing together the community to support the American Red Cross.

Running from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, blood donations can be made at two convenient locations: the Law Enforcement Center in Grand Island and the Fort Kearney Chapter in Kearney. In addition, residents of Hastings can participate on Friday at the City Auditorium from noon to 6 p.m.

The Battle of the Badges blood drive serves as a friendly competition between the Tri-cities, encouraging citizens to join in the cause and help save lives through their donations.
