PARKVILLE — Kearney decimated Lincoln College Prep 16-1 in the Class 5 District 8 Semifinals on Thursday, May 18. The win for Kearney pushes them to a date with Smithville for the district championship on Monday, May 22.

Eli Helberg earned the start for the Bulldogs. He pitched only one inning and allowed the lone earned run for the Blue Tigers. Helberg did strike out two batters in the win. In the bottom of the first inning, Kearney responded with a sacrifice fly by Kale Conway to score Jackson Helberg.
