KAUKAUNA – After being closed for seven months, Haen Meat Packing has now reopened, unveiling new construction under its new ownership.

Haen Meat Packing is at 600 County KK and has operated since 1959, becoming well-known in the valley for its sausages, according to representative Taylor Schmidt. Greenville meat market The Meat Block bought Haen in 2021 and expanded and renovated the Kaukauna store.

The construction added 7,000 square feet to the existing store, according to the Meat Block. The new space now has offices, new coolers and freezers, an updated storefront and a cattle intake pen.

The expansion allows the store to carry grilling equipment and ready-to-eat sides, "making it a one-stop shop," Schmidt said.

The project was completed in November, and Haen Meat Packing celebrated its grand opening May 22.

Now that they've expanded, Haen Meat Packing said Tuesday they are also accepting additional partnerships with local farmers, according to the company's Facebook page.

The meat market is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Learn more by searching "Haen Meat Packing" on Facebook, calling 920-766-3239 or visiting haenmeats.com.
