Based in Katy, Texas, the warehouse showcases some of the latest technology in the industry, allowing humans to work alongside some state of the art robots.

These devices are activated after receiving an online order, reports CBS affiliate KHOU 11.

The robots then retrieve the products and deliver them to an in-store workstation.

Then, a human checks the work and readies the product for shipping.

In May of this year, Walmart opened a facility in Indiana, which was the largest to date.

“Indiana is proud to welcome this next generation Walmart fulfillment center, which represents a significant investment in our industry and our people,” said Ann Lathrop, chief strategy officer of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

“Walmart has long been a good corporate partner in Indiana, and we’re excited to see their commitment grow in Hancock County.”

By creating these high tech warehouses, Walmart hopes to create more jobs and impact their delivery services.
