K-9 injured in barricade situation in Waianae
WAIANAE, Hawaii (Island News) -- A barricade situation that continued into the late night hours on Thursday resulted in a police K-9 being injured. The full extent of the dog's wounds are unknown heading into Friday, but at least one officer reported the K-9 would likely be okay. The dog was apparently stabbed and seen with its head wrapped in a bandage before being driven away from the scene and taken to an animal hospital.
