Former Kansas City Chiefs defensive back and Super Bowl Champion Bashaud Breeland was arrested on multiple charges to include assaulting a government official.
Bashaud Breeland, 32, was arrested on Saturday, according to court records. Breeland is facing charges of drug possession, resisting arrest, assaulting a public official, and injury to personal property.
In total, Breeland is facing charges of:
- Assaulting a government official
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule I controlled substance
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule V controlled substance
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver marijuana
- Injury to personal property
- Resisting arrest
Breeland was arrested twice since 2023, but this one is rough. The former Clemson standout was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a stolen vehicle, and multiple drug related charges back in 2023.
When Breeland was arrested back in August of 2023 a police report revealed he was in possession of a stolen Mercedes-Benz SUV, multiple guns, including two AR-15s and two AK-47s.
Police seized the vehicle and weapons along with more than five pounds of marijuana, 62 grams of suspected mushrooms and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop along North Graham Street.
